Facial Fat Grafting
Facial Fat Grafting Treatment and Fat Transplantation
Fat Transplantation is a procedure whereby fat is taken from a donor area, eg. hips, abdomen, or thighs; and is implanted into other areas. The procedure is very well suited to deep groves or skin folds in the face and to the back of the hands, it can also be used to enlarge lips. However, this treatment is not suitable for breast enlargement or reducing fine lines.
This procedure best suits for patients who need very large amounts of collagen or when they are allergic to collagen. Fat transplantation uses your own fat, therefore, allergic reactions can be minimized. The treatment should be repeated one or two times during the first year for best results. The effect can last up to three years, though this will vary depending on the patient. There is a chance to get a permanent improvement by doing repeated treatments.
